1 in 2 of us will receive a diagnosis of cancer during our lifetime costing the NHS £5bn annually in cancer services. We know (from our partnership with WHO) that around 40% of the most common cancer cases are preventable such as through eating a healthy diet, being active and maintaining a healthy weight. For e.g, 30% of breast cancer cases in the UK could be prevented. The cancer risks and how to reduce them are not well known and thus not being turned into action quick enough to save lives.

We want to ensure that our lifesaving information helping people reduce their risk of developing cancer, reaches the largest number of people. Our model will provide the latest advice to Health Professionals, for them to help more people in local communities to make positive lifestyle choices and reduce their cancer risk, helping people to live longer and save the NHS time and money.
