Kangaroos have been providing out of school activities since 1994, for children with severe learning disabilities many of whom have additional behavioural, physical or sensory problems, as well as a number with Autism and ADHD. Ours is the only organisation in our area which caters for the needs of this extremely varied and complex group of children on a regular basis throughout the year.

We run two saturday Clubs most weeks and playschemes in the school holidays offerring a range of activities at our base and a varied programme of trips out specific to the needs of the children aged from 6 to 19. We have over 40 children who attend these activities who have very little access to activities outside the home or school environment, and can only take part in the activities because our setting provides such a highly supervised, structured environment.
