More people are finding they are homeless or at risk of homelessness due to many factors including substance misuse, relationship breakdown, mental health issues , escaping violent relationships, poverty issues. Finding someone a home is the first step on the ladder, to enable them to build confidence and skills which will empower them to move on from homelessness for good

The majority of the people we support move into unfurnished flats, they struggle to furnish their accommodation with the basics, we help out with donated beds & furniture, but it’s basic kitchen equipment we need, e.g. fridges, kettles microwaves and toasters are key to enabling people to resettle. Once the basics are in place we can begin to help people sustain the tenancy, build skills and confidence with one to one and group support in order for people to become part of a community again.
