We need a fund to update and maintain our office building, which is used as a base for all our volunteer training, meetings and the work the organisation carries out.

Situation
We obtained funding from the Big Lottery to buy the building we occupy in 2001. Since then we have been unable to identify any funding to help us to maintain the fabric of this building or increase its capacity for our offered services. We allow other voluntary groups to hire our rooms at a very reasonable rate but this additional income goes no where near to building an emergency fund for what will in the future be essential repair work for example re-wiring, renewing heating etc. We would like to have a fund of up to £100,000 to be used purely for repairs and improvements to the building. This fund would be ring-fenced to ensure it is used wisely and appropriately.
