Our Club caters, in the main, for young people from the age of 10 through 18. For those in the age group J10 to J14B there is very little opportunity for competition. The chance arose for us to use the stunning setting at Blenheim to provide a 4 lane 500 meter course for this age group.

Situation
The lack of racing opportunites for the very youngest athletes in the sport of rowing and sculling.
Solution
The regatta is specifically aimed at juniors aged J14B and below. The regatta will offer them a chance to compete in a series of 500 metre multi-lane races, an opportunity which is very rare for younger rowers. We will provide a safe environment for grassroots rowing where junior rowers can experience the competitive world of rowing in an idyllic setting. This is the first regatta of its kind in the United Kingdom to give young rowers to compete against their peers in 500 m lane racing.
