Otters are the perfect ambassador species for a healthy environment. Their presence at the top of the food chain and occupying a variety habitats indicates a balanced and clean ecosystem for all to thrive in. IOSF intends to teach children all about otters, otter conservation, their impact in the ecosystem and environmental conservation. Teaching future generations about the importance of helping the environment will provide long-lasting benefits for the world.

One of the major problems that otters face is a LACK OF AWARENESS. Wildlife conservation and education efforts are often focused on more famous fauna and otters are often overlooked. IOSF intends to raise the profile of otters and their conservation. By focusing on a few aims we hope that otters are talked about more and individuals have more understanding on a number of factors relating to them.
