Christmas can be a hard time for families caring for a loved one who has a terminal illness. For many of the families we care for, this Christmas may be their last together.

We try to make sure as many of our patients are able to spend Christmas at home, often under the care of one of our Homecare nurses. For those patients who are too ill be at home, we make sure we do everything we can to make Christmas at the Hospice a special time. There is a tree, carols, Christmas dinner for the whole family, stockings for children and more. Our team are here whatever the weather to look after our patients and make this the best Christmas possible under difficult circumstances
