Staging the works of Richard Wagner is one of the greatest challenges for every opera company, both artistically and financially. Recent productions at the Royal Opera House, including the complete Ring cycle in 2007, have brought together hundreds of Wagner-lovers from around the world who have combined their enthusiasm for these great works with practical support. The Royal Opera will be staging at least two operas by Wagner each Season every year until 2012, and the Wagner Supporters are committed to supporting this great endeavour. Donors make an annual philanthropic contribution of £5,000 and enjoy special access to performers and production staff through a series of events and regular updates.
