Our exhibition New Contemporaries 2010 is currently on at the ICA. With work by 49 young and emerging artists all at a crucial stage in their career on its first weekend it attracted 2.5K visitors. Alongside the show there is a Public Programme that includes Profesional Development sessions.

Situation
At present we are uncertain of future funding sources. Over the years New Contemporaries has provided young and emerging artists with their first serious professional platform. Like everyone our funding base is uncertain moving forward.
Solution
Raising funds at this time will help us ensure the continuation of the programme. This year we have run a series of Professional Development sessions in response to artists' concerns about how they might survive and maintain a practice in the current climate.
