    Situation

Working carers often find it difficult to relay information about their situation to others in the workpalce. Pharmacists in their professional 'helping' role may find it hard to convey that they need time off to look after a loved one, friend or relative. Project ‘Carers Passport’ is a chance to recognise and support the valuable work these individuals do.

    Solution

The ‘Carers Passport’ will help individuals who have specific caring responsibilities, to be supported in their place of work. It will help carers identify their own needs and help others understand their situation and the impact this additional responsibility can have on their worklife.
