To enusure that parents attend an informative event to help them understand the risks to children of unsafe Internet use, in particular social networking sites, children themselves will educate their parents through the medium of musical theatre. We will work with childrend to create the show.

Situation
The need for parents to protect their children from the risks that unsafe internet use can present. Many adults are still not internet aware although their children are using it regularly. There is a need to present to parents an event that they will attend and from which they will learn how to protect their children.
Solution
We will work with school children to help them become aware of the risks of unsafe Internet use. Together we will create a performance about online safety for their parents. This is an exciting, stimulating and educational performance based project which will educate about: •Personal safety •The potential dangers of giving out personal information •How easily other people can lie online •The risks of meeting people you don't know •How to ensure your child is safe online
