Situation
The focus of our Gender Equality project is to raise awareness and understanding of gender issues across Northern Ireland but with a particluar focus on Co. Fermanagh. This project was born from feedback received during local studies that resulted in our publication 'Stepping Out As Equals' published in 2003. We aim to address social and economic issues (Gender Pay Gap, etc), wider policy needs and grassroots attitudinal shifts by training sessions, community-based workshops and events. Our taregt audience ranges from school leavers to retired women.
