Forest School has funded scholarships and bursaries since the 1990s and is determined to continue making a first class education available to able pupils whose parents could not otherwise afford the fees. We wish to augment our Bursary Fund by attracting charitable donations from the wider community

    Situation

Forest School is committed to attracting the ablest and most talented pupils to join an environment where they will be challenged and stretched, and to which they can make an exciting contribution. We are also committed to ensuring that able and talented children have access to this environment even when parental income is not sufficient to pay the full cost of tuition fees.

    Solution

Scholarships and Bursaries are available by competitive process for entry at 11+ and 16+, as follows. The maximum non-means-tested fee remission awarded in respect of any one pupil is 50% of full fees, whether in one area of excellence or in a combination of one or more areas of excellence. Bursaries are means-tested and are awarded in addition to Scholarship, up to and including the total remission of fees.
