Five cousins who survived the massacre of their family in Podujev√´, Kosovo were brought to the UK by the British Army for treatment. They asked MAK to create the Manchester Peace Park in their home town in NE Kosovo. Much of MAK's work develops and resources this region focussing on education, recreation and the arts.
