Situation
In the current economic climate, it is increasingly challenging to identify employers who are willing to take a young person on a 2-week work experience programme. We currently place over 7,000 young people per annum, and the project will bring extra staff resource to ensure that every young person in our area is able to access a work experience placement. Funding is sought to employ two additional Employer Liaison Officers (ELOs) for one year: £50,000
