Many families in Eastern Europe are so poor they can barely afford food on a day to day basis. For them Christmas means the same struggle as any other day. Many do not know the reason for Christmas, and even if they do, celebrating it is a luxury beyond their means.

Each box contains special treats like jam and biscuits, as well as basics like flour, oil, tinned meat and vegetables. This means that not only can the families celebrate Christmas day, but they also have some basics to see them through the hardest part of the year, when fresh food costs more. By supporting families in this way, we also open doors to discussing the truth behind the Christmas period with them, and ultimately to sharing the gospel.
