The demand for the care provided by Zöe’s Place has never been higher. We have recognised a need to increase our capacity and to provide single occupancy bedrooms for our babies. Our dream is to create a purpose-built facility for these special babies, but due to the current economic climate, this can not be achieved without significant risk for several years. We are keen to upgrade our facilities in order to enable us to provide the care that our babies deserve whilst continuing with our capital appeal. For this to be achieved, we intend to carry out extensive but cost efficient works on the ground floor of our current building to allow us to help more babies and their families. The proposed temporary enhancements will incorporate single occupancy bedrooms as well as increased living space with access to the gardens as well as enabling us to help babies with more complex medical needs. The project is estimated to cost £350,000. We are awaiting a further cost breakdown.
