Only 10% of the divorcing population use mediation to help decide children's arrangements and finances, despite the fact that it is statistically much more cost-effective and arrangements are much less likely to break down than those that have been imposed by a court. We hope to encourage a) positive parenting after separation b) better dissemination about the benefits of mediation with an ex-partner, as opposed to litigation.
