    Situation

In partnership with the CAB, we currently employ our PERC for 25 hours per week. It is clear that the PERC provides a new and important capability in understanding the background and needs of individual offenders and thus in helping to co-ordinate the prison's, other bodies', and charities' efforts to provide an effective tailored and hopefully permanent rehabilitation for each of them. This clear success points immediately to the need to increase the PERC's availability and provide him with support. We hope to raise a further £10,000 of funding to increase his hours to full-time. The PERC's part-time hours are currently funded by the Tudor LankellyChase SW Partnership.
