ÔÉò Raising community awareness of the needs of those who provide unpaid care within the community. ÔÉò Through home visits ensuring unpaid carers receive timely, helpful and empowering advice and guidance. ÔÉò Providing Carers with support and guidance to enable them to balance their caring responsibilities with their own welfare, practical and social needs. ÔÉò Providing opportunities to meet socially with other carers for mutual encouragement and to help reduce the feelings of isolation. ÔÉò Ensuring that individual carers health and emotional needs are properly considered and addressed. ÔÉò Giving carers confidence by providing opportunities to receive and benefit from appropriate training so that they a can care with confidence.
