Around 2,000 men are diagnosed with testis cancer every year in the UK. Approximately 150 patients relapse every year and sadly around 50% of people with relapsed testis cancer die from their disease. This study aims to recruit over 40 patients across 2.5 years with relapsed testicular cancer and to evaluate their response to GAMIO treatment to improve the survival rates for these patients. The cost of the project is £83,000 for two years and this funding is needed to help Orchid cover the costs of a clinical trial nurse, data manager and clinical trials monitor.
