This campaign has now closed

We have provided £10,000 initial funding to allow purchase of the land and construction of foundations and walls. We now require a further £10,000 to complete two classrooms ready for the first intake of pupils in september 2009.

    Situation

Education for girls is limited in Tanzania. A secondary girls' school is urgently needed in the Moshi area. This school will be managed by the Sisters of the Assumption. The Sisters have received funding that will cover all the day to day costs once the school is in operation. Furnding is urgently required to complete two classrooms. This is our initial target. Over time we hope to raise £250,000 to allow the completeion of an 800 pupil boarding school.
