We already have funds to offer up to 50 places on residential summer camps this year. We are hoping to raise funds for another 50 - 100 places.

    Situation

ATE aims to bring together as many children and young people as possible from as many different social backgrounds as possible, so that they can have some good old fashioned fun and games with lots of outdoor activities. Many children today spend too long in front of games consoles and TVs and are not learning the important skills of interacting with others. The children who need these experiences most are often those whose parents can not afford to send their children on summer camps. A week with ATE will improve a child's confidence, ability to interact with a range of other children and young people, and will teach them the benefits of play outside of their normal environment. A standard ATE summer camp week costs £335 and we are looking for funding from various sources to enable us to provide this experience for up to 100 additional children.
