MS currently has no cure. It is often diagnosed when people are in their 20s and is a complex, lifelong condition with very variable symptoms. People struggling with MS desperately want information to help them understand and manage their MS to give them the best possible quality of life. A Google search or multiple sclerosis returns over 38m results of mostly unmediated "information", and against this backdrop people need a source of reliable, unbiased information that they know they can trust.

The MS Trust is the foremost provider of trusted information on MS. We carried out research last year which showed people want to interact with our website information, personalise their use of it and access it via smart phones and tablets. They want interactive forums and webcasts. Our current website is outdated and can't provide this level of flexibility. We intend to redesign it from scratch to provide what the 53,000 visitors who use the website each month need for the foreseeable future
