"Tam O'Shanter" will be touring to sixty primary schools across Scotland from February to March 2009 - all bookings confirmed, further possible tour in November 2009. Approx seven thousand children will see a performance. Tam O'Shanter will be a forty minute performance followed by a twenty minute question and answer session with the two actors. It will be performed to four classes only and will clarify the sometimes obscure language of the poem while retaining all the drama, energy, excitement and dynamism of this universally acclaimed epic in the 250th anniversary year of Burns birth. Hopscotch Theatre Company does not receive revenue funding from any source but relies upon the people who work for us and the popularity of the productions we produce.
