Tracking 10-15 topics over three years, "Health of the Nation" will create a body of new work looking broadly at the issue of 'health' in the United Kingdom in the lead up to the 2012 Olympic Games. Content is still to be confirmed (early supporters can contribute ideas and be directly involved in content selection) but will include a study of specific issues such as obesity and cancer, but also more subjective ideas such as health services in the remotest parts of the UK compared to the most crowded, and perhaps portraits of the most influential people or objects in the field today. The work will create a touring exhibition and accompanying book, with additional activities such as masterclasses, workshops, lectures and online activity also being planned. We also hope to participate in the Cultural Olympiad. Any contribution is greatly valued but you might want to consider one of the following: Subject support: £5,000 each Exhibition support: £25,000 Principal Donor: £50,000 Golden Donor: £100,000
