We live in the North Isles of Shetland and so there are a number of issues that we can help to solve through this project. Isolation and rural issues mean that there are few people in the isles, and we want families, young and older people to get together more through this project. There is sometimes a lack of access to arts activities and a lack of people with singing skills and we want to increase both.

We want to help people develop skills and confidence in performance, learn how to put on staged performances, learn more about musical theatre and opera, and ultimately, create a small performance group of young people and adults to stage pieces in Shetland. We also want everyone to have fun and enjoy being together in a group, making something we can be proud of.
