We want to ensure that the most vulnerable children and young people are able to transform their lives with the security, education and caring support they need during their developmental years. We achieve this by placing children, where THEY wish it, in suitable boarding schools.

    Situation

Royal Wanstead Children's Foundation is able to maximize the effectiveness of the grants and donations it receives. We work with other charities and boarding schools to leverage every £1,000 up to seven times. Thus, we can make a donation of £50,000 worth £350,000!! We invite supporters to consider making a grant towards our project target of £50,000: this would enable us to support vulnerable young children at boarding school for the duration of their secondary education. Our published research shows that such Assisted Boarding really can transform the lives and prospects of even the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children. We hope you will help us put smiles on the faces and hope into the hearts of more of these desperately needy children in 2009.
