The Centre will be buult in an area of Balderton, Newark which has limited community facilities. The new building will be a flexible space but particulalrly suitable for a range of activities for children with a large activity hall. We aim to extend our current community provision by providing a lunch club for the elderly two days per week and have an extra day for the parent and toddler group. As well as providing a better resource for our two children's clubs, we want to provide a monthly family fun night - where children and parents/carers can come together for various activities. We also want to provide a weekly Saturday morning club for children (Fit anf Fun) which obviously has the aim of helping children to have fun and increasing fitness/healthy lifestyle. The cost of the whole project including purchase of land is £1.1m of which we have already rasied £750,000. We need to rasie another £260,000
