Over the last few decades, gender patterns in victimisation and offending have changed. When put in the context of gender inequality, these patterns present serious challenges for policy-making, legislation and practice.
Solution
The IARS International Institute has a mission to explore, test and disseminate bottom up, user-led and community born ideas and methods that address persistent inequalities and social injustice. Focusing on current issues of international significance, this year's annual conference will bring together affected women, policy-makers, researchers, funders and practitioners to debate and publish cutting-edge work
