IARS currently offers four interns the opportunity to have their activities and learning accredited at a university level. In partnership with London Metropolitan University we have designed the work-based Certificate in Youth Policy.

Situation
Many young people leave school without the qualifications they need to go to university. Our Certificate in Youth Policy allows our volunteers to have their volunteering accredited at a university level.
Solution
Our Certificate in Youth Policy offers young people the opportunity to undertake a period of supervised work based learning relevant to an area of youth policy. It is hoped that this experience together with the certificate will position students for subsequent employment and/or further education and progression.
