We have a regular retired workforce of 50+ volunteers that need a dedicated space to restore, renovate and conserve the collection. Our collection within the library/archive has outgrown the space available and access to the collection is now limited. The rural textiles are currently being stored off site as the appropriate storage is not available to us at the moment. Due to our rural location the energy available to us is at its limits and we propose to have solar panels incorporated into the roof of the building to help with the energy for the museum and decrease our carbon footprint.
