We establish libraries in schools and community centres in countries with a desperate lack of educational resources. At the moment we work in Cambodia, India, Laos, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, South Africa and Zambia.

Situation
A library serves an average of 300 students each and include over 500 local language and English language books. Each library costs around £2,500, and funding provides books, furniture, games, puzzles, posters, librarian training and 3 years of support from Room to Read. Our "Room to Dream" Campaign aims to expand our number of libraries from 5,000 to over 10,000 by 2010.
