£100,000 needed to buy our existing grazing field and car park, which has been put up for sale by our Landlord. Without this area to turn out our ponies we will be forced to close.

Chiverton RDA has been running for 40 years with the facility of being able to turn out our ponies in the adjoining 7 acre field. We hold 4 sessions twice wekly for up to 40 riders, and it is essential that the ponies are quiet, as a result of being turned out daily in the field which adjoins our indoor school. This field, which has been leased by our organisation over the last 40 years, has now been put on the open market for sale. No other fields are available near by, so if we are unable to purchase these 7 acres, we will have no option but to close down our Riding for Disabled. This will deny our local children and adults a very important activity which benefits them so much, both mentally and physically.
