Situation
The Community Action Team (better known as the CAT team) exists to make the areas around us better places to live. We do this through several different outreach programs. For example we help people clear and tidy their gardens, people who are disabled or do not have the means of keeping it under control themselves. We offer painting and decorating services or just simple support and encouragement for single parents, the lonely and unloved. We also take our children's and youth teams out onto estates and provide fun programs to keep those generations entertained and see their lives lifted to a better level. Everything we provide is free of charge and we wish to make it available to any person who needs it. Unfortunately our equipment right now is very limited and we would love to extend this service through purchasing gardening, decorating and cleaning equipment. We would also love to see our detached outreach team have the relevant equipment, such as sound equipment, game facilities and a van with a stage that can be folded down to use as a base to reach kids and children in the area. We want to see our communities transformed and regenerated so they have hope again.
