    Situation

Experience shows that the information available to people living with PBC can be scant, contradictory, misleading or just simply incorrect. This is why it is vital that the information we provide is comprehensive, current, accurate and accessible. The PBC Foundation will put together detailed and relevant information in to a pack, which can be sent to everyone suffering from PBC. The pack will contain medical information about Itching, Lethargy, Transplant, Diet, Pregnancy, Medication, Family and Other Autoimmune Diseases as well as non-medical information regarding Disability Living Allowance and Travel Insurance etc. The project will involve putting together relevant information about PBC which will be printed on easy to read leaflets, collated and sent to all of our current members and every General Practitioner in the UK. Additionally new members of the PBC Foundation will receive a compendium on registering with the Foundation.
