We are working with the Dorza Bele community of 5,250 people, in southern Ethiopia in the Gamo Gofa Zone, to access clean water. We have just £8,500 to raise to make this is reality.

Situation
The community would like to reduce the distance needed to travel to unprotected water sources from where they (particularly women & children) are traveling daily to fetch water for drinking and other domestic use and they would like to eliminate incidences of diseases as a result of drinking this water.
Solution
When communities have access to clean water health improves, children can attend school, more food is grown, adults can give time to economic activities to benefit their families, equality improves and sustainability becomes a possibility.
