The problem now that despite having the majority of parts, old and some newly manufactured, including new boiler barrels and a new smoke-box the loco now has to to go to a specialist boiler-smith to be completed as we have neither the number of volunteers or the heavy lifting equipment to complete the restoration
We have already discussed with reputable boiler-smiths about carrying on with the boiler work and have obtained some quotes
