We would like to increase the number and types of services we deliver across the district including the ability to offer a staffed telephone advice line. Thus, money is required to pay for a new telephone system and a member of staff to operate it and supervise volunteer advisers.

    Situation

    This service would help us to provide advice and information services to far more people than we can currently see. Money is required to pay for the purchase, installation and running of an appropriate state of the art system (approximately £15,000 for 5 years). In addition, set up costs, capital equipment and a staff salary would be required. Approximately £100,000 would be adequate for the 5 year project.
