Stretton Pre-School has been established since 1982 and is based in Yaxley, Cambridgeshire (near Peterborough). We are the largest Pre-school in the county, catering for 220 children across 3 sites. Our excellent, well-trained team of staff are committed to providing a superior level of education for the young children for whom we are responsible and we are pleased to confirm that our recent Ofsted results reflect this. However, due to our limited financial resources, securing funding for staff training has become increasingly difficult, to the point that our staff have funded their OWN training course from their OWN private funds. We recognise that we have a wonderful team of staff and we want to ensure that they are rewarded with training and ultimately qualifications that have been funded through the Pre-School and not through their own personal means. We are currently looking to secure an ongoing level of funding that would be directed towards a dedicated programme of staff training.
