Our partners Alpha Education and Welfare in Andhra Pradesh look after 32 orphaned and abandoned children. They currently camp in a compound where there are foundations for a home. At night the children are scared of snakes and scorpions and a night watchman is paid to protect them.

We have recently opened another home in a Hyderabad for street children and our aim this year is to see the completion of this home in a remote part of the state. There are so many desparately needy children and we contribute towards feeding and education programmes. The end goal is to see the home built and the children safe. The total build cost is £36,000
