    Situation

    Qualified caseworkers are available to assist with: -General enquiries about welfare benefits -Benefit checks, to ensure that individuals receive their correct entitlement -Completion of complex claim forms such as Disability Living Allowance and Incapacity Benefit For Work -Representation at Social Security Commissioners and Appeals Tribunals The Team offers a quality assured service. It is contracted by the Legal Services Commission (LSC) to provide welfare benefits advice and it adheres to the Specialist Quality Mark, as laid down by the LSC, in all its work, both legal aided and non-legal aided. The service also receives funding from Liverpool City Council. The Welfare Rights Service also provide a Home Visiting Service and outreach services for ethnic minority communities and mental health service users.
