Situation

Work experience on our farm involves working with a mixture of animals, working in the gardens and growing organic vegetables. These activities all involve planning and committment thus offering the chance to gain skills and build self esteem to vulnerable people - be it those leaving the Care System; those on probation or those with a variety of learning, physical or mental health difficulties. This project would take one year to set up ( including building) and is designed once initial capital and start up costs are met, for the project to be self funding. The accomodation costs approximately £350,000 with a further £100,000 set up, staff and animal housing costs.
