What are the objectives? 1 – To develop young peoples’ social and emotional skills 2 – To engaging hard to reach and disadvantaged young people 3 – To better equip young people to make successful transitions to adulthood What does Keyfund do? •It uses incremental grants as an incentive for Young People, who may be very disadvantaged, to organise something beyond their present capabilities and to progress through the 4 stages of project development. •It provides a tried and tested framework that enables Young People to develop 12 specific skills through the youth-led learning process and with the support of trained facilitators •It is based on a membership model, with facilitators receiving ongoing training, support, information, ideas and networking opportunities
