    Situation

Mercy Ministries UK's residential home in Oxenhope, Bradford currently provides life transforming support for 12 women at any one time. We are currently drawing up plans for an extension on the current property in order to increase the intake capacity up to 21 women. The need for more beds in this home is evident. Recent statistics suggest that 1 in 10 secondary school students will have some form of eaeting disorder, and as many as a quarter of girls admit that they are struggling with their eating. With more beds available, Mercy Ministries UK can help to reduce this statistic offering a place for women to deal with their issues such as eating disorders, self harm, depression or the emotional effects of having been abused.
