    Situation

Families with a young deaf child are often isolated from early years education due to a widening gap in social and professional services. Many find the services that are available locally do not cater for children with special needs, do not allow parent and child to learn together, exclude part of our modern community (e.g are entirely faith based), are run over a fixed period of time or with a targeted catchment area, or they are simply too expensive to use.

    Solution

We provide a nationally available home learning programme, specially designed to guide parents as they help their deaf child develop listening and spoken language skills. Our lessons are offered free to all families of deaf children throughout the UK, providing an accessible service to meet the needs of our beneficiaries
