    Situation

    Phoenix Theatre Company presents Choices By Laura Dymock “One way or another- everyone has a choice”. A drama- based project on the effects of bullying The project comprises an original play and interactive workshops and is aimed at children from years 5 and above in Primary and Secondary Schools, and also young people from Youth Club organisations or Colleges. The project aims to fulfil the five outcomes of the government’s strategy – Every Child Matters and addresses the problems of bullying and anti-social behaviour which cause so many concerns. Choices was originally devised with the help of pupils from a Hampshire Secondary School and was piloted through Hampshire and Isle of Wight Youth Clubs. It is currently being delivered to primary schools in East Hampshire. Phoenix Theatre Company has just completed four years of the highly successful project –The Same Difference on the subject of Inclusion and hidden disabilities, which toured to over 300 Hampshire schools and was experienced by over 50,000 children.
