Never has the challenge of youth work been greater than at the present time. Young people live in a whirlwind of media, information and materialism. Many lack the social structures that would ease the difficult transition into adulthood. The world is changing rapidly but the problems for young people remain the same. Young people are not children but neither are they adults. The process from childhood to adulthood can be difficult whatever the social background. They need reliable impartial information, support and understanding.
