    Situation

Through Urban Dialogues – and together with the artists and the programme partners – 3FF is building a movement of people committed to improving relations between faith communities through art. The exhibits and festival act as inter-communal dialogue events. The events reach out to wider society – beyond those commonly involved in interfaith – and demonstrate collaborations between faiths, as well as the high level of talent and creativity within faith communities.

    Solution

In 2010, Urban Dialogues culminated in the ‘Barriers and Bridges’ festival at Candid Arts Gallery in Islington. Over 20 artists displayed work, as well as 14 artist collaborations. 250 young professionals attended the opening night and over 90 students participated in festival workshops over the week. The festival attracted 800 attendees, as well as significant press attention. At the 2010 festival, we included students from the faith and non-faith schools in which we actively work.
