A respite holiday lodge for disabled people. We are developing a new service providing accessible holidays for disabled children and adults. The holiday lodge comprises of three bedrooms, with accessible facilities including kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms.

Situation
We know from the experiences of our own service-users and from other disabled people that there is a lack of high-quality, adapted holiday accommodation for people with physical disabilities. There is especially a lack of suitable and accessible accommodation for families with a disabled child, meaning that many are unable to enjoy an inclusive family holiday.
Solution
The solution - Disability Action Yorkshire is commissioning a holiday lodge at an existing site in Louth, Lincolnshire. The lodge is purpose-built and will be fully accessible for disabled people.
